We have been working, sleeping and playing with our Labs since 1988. Our Labs live in our home, run on acres of Kentucky bluegrass and nap in the warm wonderful sunshine. I hope you will enjoy seeing some of our dogs.

Our main goal is to produce a puppy with an excellent temperament, excellent health background, intelligence, size and structure to fit within AKC’s standard for their breed. All puppies are AKC Registered.

We research pedigrees being considered for each and every litter. During the past twenty years, we have kept puppies that are now woven into our Apple Blossom pedigrees. This practice insures many generations of health certifications behind each of our puppies. All of our dogs are OFA hip, elbow, heart certifed eye and Optigen certified normal. We also test for VWD, Thyroid abnormalities and Heartworm. There are no exceptions to this rule!

Before our puppies leave Apple Blossom, they are Vet checked, given their first vaccine, de-wormed three times, started on heartworm prevention and micro-chipped. Our puppies are temperament tested at 7 weeks to give us information to determine the best match of puppy and family. We take pride in the placements of our babies. We have dogs in many walks of life ranging from couch potatoes to hunting and obedience companions, Certified Service Dogs, Certified Therapy Dogs, drug, arson and narcotic dogs. We also have several in homes with Autistic children.

Apple Blossom has a “NO QUESTIONS ASKED” return policy.
If, for any reason, during the life of the dog you are unable to keep it, we want the dog returned to us so we can find a new home for it. When we go to bed at night, we want to know where our babies are!

Get acquainted with us by visiting our Photo Albums and other picture pages (link on the left side of this page). Our Retired and Memorial pages have many pictures of dogs in your puppy’s pedigree. The PUPPY page has our current or upcoming litters.

If you are interested in acquiring one of our precious puppies, please call us at (859) 534-5828 for details and interview.

Special Note: The Internet is an excellent tool for many things, but buying or selling puppies is not one of them. We DO NOT sell puppies over the Internet or through email. We require all interviews be conducted the old fashioned way, by phone or in person!
Thank you, in advance for your understanding!

Stolen From His Front Yard
"SPANKY"

This is happening all too frequently in the United States. Purebred dogs are being snatched up from their own front or back yards. Even if the back yard is fenced, gates are locked, owners are home, they still take them. The thieves are using vans with company names or just plain mini-vans to take them away. They spend their days driving up and down your streets looking for an unsuspecting victim. Labradors will go with anyone and this is why they are so popular to be taken. On the other side of that coin they are also very marketable to unsuspecting buyers. Most dogs today are microchipped but vets and new owners don't think to check since they came from a nice couple out of the newspaper.

Please help us find Spanky and bring him home!! On Sunday August 2nd at 12:00pm, Spanky, a 4 year old male labrador was taken from his yard. He is very friendly and would have gone to anyone. If you see or know someone who recently purchased an adult yellow male lab please contact us. When he was taken he was wearing a black collar with I.D tags that had his contact numbers on it. He is AKC registered and also has a micro-chip. He was last seen on Edgington Road in Williamsburg, Ohio.
Please pass this information along to everyone. Call us if you have any information that will help bring Spanky home. (859) 534-5828

UPDATE:

Spanky is back home with his family after 5 months of living on a chain tied outside. He got away and was picked up by the SPCA. He is microchipped and this brought him back home to his loving family! I want to thank everyone for their concern over his situation.
